Mountingthepedestal
Beforemountingtheunit,ensurethatyouhave:
•Selectedasuitablelocation.
•Identifiedthecableconnectionsandroutethatthecableswilltake.
Important:
Preparedsuitableliftingequipmentforfixingthepedestaltothemountingplatform.Thelifting
equipmentmustbeofasuitablegaugeandstrengthcapableofbearingthepedestal'sweight
of16Kg(asaminimum),andalsocapableofpassingthroughthe20mmeyeboltholeonthe
pedestal.Additionally,youmustalsocarefullyconsidertheimpactforceontheliftingequipment,
intheeventthatthepedestalfallsbeforeitissecuredtothemountingsurface.DoNOTattachthe
antennatothepedestalpriortolifting.
1.Checktheselectedlocation.Aclear,flatplatformisrequiredformountingthepedestalunit.

2.Fixthesuppliedmountingtemplatetotheplatform,usingmaskingorself-adhesivetape.
Important:
Ensurethemountingtemplateisorientatedcorrectly.
3.Usinga3mmdrillbit,drillthe4holes,asindicatedonthemountingtemplate.Checkthatthe
holeshavebeendrilledinthecorrectposition.
4.Usingan11mmdrillbit,drillthroughthe4holes.
5.Ifyouplantorouteyourcablesthroughthemountingsurface,cutthecableholeoutusinga
jigsaw.
