1.Calculatethedeadriseangle .
Thedeadriseangleshouldbemeasuredontheoutsideofthehullfromthelocationthatthe
transduceristobemountedusingananglefinderorsimilardevice.
2.Adjustthebandsawtabletotherequireddeadriseangle .
3.Adjustthebandsaw’sfencetobethedistancespecifiedinthe fencetoblade tableaddedtothe
widthofyourcuttingguide,ifused.
Usingthefencetobladetablemeasurementsensuresthatthecutwillbemadeatanappropriate
placeonthefairing,producing2equallysizedparts.
4.P ositionthefairingblockagainstthefencesothatthetopfaceofthefairingblockisclosestto
thefence.
Important:
Wheninstalledthepointedendofthefairingmustpointtowardsthebow .Ensurethatthefairing
isorientatedcorrectlyonthebandsawtablesothatthecorrectangleiscutforthesideyouare
installing.Whencuttingtheportsidefairingthepointedendofthefairingshouldbepointingaway
fromyou,whencuttingthestarboardsidefairingthepointedendshouldbepointingtowardsyou.
