Standbymode
InStandbymodeyouhavemanualcontrolofthehelmandthe
displayshowsthevessel’scurrentcompassheading.
Youcandisengageanyautopilotmodeandreturntomanually
steeringatanytimebypressingSTANDBY.
Automode
Steeringautomaticallytoaheading
Youcanuseyourautopilotsystemtosteerautomaticallytowards
aheading.
1.Steadythevesselontherequiredheading.
2.PressAUTO.
TheautopilotisnowinAUTOmodeandwillsteertothechosen
heading,shownonthedisplay.
3.Youcanreturntomanualsteeringatanytimebypressing
STANDBY.
Changingcourseinautomode
TochangecoursewhilstinAUTOmode:
1.Usethe–1and–10button,orturntherotarycontroller
anticlockwisetochangethevessel’scoursetoport.
Pressing–1buttonwillincrementthecoursetoportby1ºand
–10willincrementby10º.
Turningtherotarycontroller1clickanticlockwisewillincrement
thecoursetoportby1º.
2.Usethe+1and+10buttons,orturntherotarycontroller
clockwisetochangethevessel’scoursetostarboard.
Pressing+1buttonwillincrementthecoursetostarboardby1º
and+10willincrementby10º.
Turningtherotarycontroller1clickclockwisewillincrementthe
coursetoStarboardby1º.
e.g.pressingthe-1buttonfourtimes,orturningtherotary4clicks
anticlockwisewillresultina4°coursechangetoport.
Alarms
Alarmsareusedtoalertyoutoasituationorhazardrequiringyour
attention.
Someexamplesofalarmsare:
•Anchoralarm—Usedwhenanchored,thisalertsyoutoa
changeindepthwhichcouldmeanthatthechainlengthrequires
adjusting.
•Depthandspeedalarms—Thesealarmsalertyouwhenyour
depthorspeedmovesoutsideofspeciedlimits,forexample
aminimumdepth.
