8.2ScanMode
Scanmodeenablesautomaticsearchingforchannelsthatarecurrentlybroadcasting.
Scanmodewillsearchthroughavailablechannelsandstopwhenitfindsachannelthatiscurrently
broadcasting.Ifthebroadcaststopsorislostformorethan5secondsthenthescanwillresume.
Channelscanbetemporarilyremovedfromanactivescan,andthedirectionofscancanalsobe
changed.Whenthescanreachesthelastchannelinthebandthescancycleisrepeated.
Thefollowingscansoptionsareavailable:

AllChannels—Allchannelsinthefrequencybandtheradioissettoarescannedinsequence.
•
AllChannels+16—Allchannelsinthefrequencybandtheradioissettoarescanned,aftereach
channelisscannedprioritychannel16isscanned.
•
SavedChannels—Onlychannelssavedtotheradio’smemoryarescannedinsequence.
•
SavedChannels+16—Onlychannelssavedtotheradio’smemoryarescanned,aftereach
channelisscannedprioritychannel16isscanned.
Note:
Iftheweatheralertfunctionisactivated,theweatheralertchannelisincludedinthescan.
SettingScanmode
Scanmodeisstartedfromthemainmenu.
Fromthe
ScanModemenu:Menu>ScanMode.
1.SelecttherelevantScanmode.
TheradioisnowinScanmode.
2.Select
EditSavedChannelstoselectthechannelsthatwillbescannedwhenperforminga
Savedchannelscan.
3.DuringScanmode,pressthe
BackbuttonatanytimetoendtheScanmodeandresumenormal
operation.
