Other buttons and their functions depend on the keypad type.
Sail boat Pilot Controller keypad
Sail boat Pilot Controller keypad buttons and functions are:
•
MENU
button. Selects the
Main Menu
which gives access
to:
• Wind Vane mode.
• AutoTack Port and Starboard - Sail boats only.
• Setup and reset functions.
• Self test routines and diagnostic information.
• The displayed Pilot view - plain, 2D or 3D (hold down).

and
+1
buttons. Used to:
• Change course, when using the autopilot to steer the
boat. One degree to port or one degree to starboard, respectively.
• Scroll to different menu options and change setup values, when setting up.
•
-10
and
+10
buttons. Used to change course, when using the autopilot to steer the
boat. Ten degrees to port or ten degrees to starboard, respectively.
•
OK
button. used to confirm setup actions and values.
•
AUTO
button. Engages autopilot control.
•
STANDBY
button. Returns to manual control.
•
TRACK
button. Engages Track mode.
•
DODGE
button. Interrupts autopilot control to enable you to steer around obsta-
cles on your plotted course.
Power boat Pilot Controller keypad
Power boat Pilot Controller keypad buttons and functions are:
•
MENU
button. Selects the
Main Menu
which gives access
to:
• Fishing pattern selection.
• Power steering.
• Setup and reset functions.
• Self test routines and diagnostic information.
• The displayed Pilot view - plain, 2D or 3D (hold down).
•
Rotary Control
:
• Rotate to change course, when using the autopilot to
steer the boat. Clockwise changes course to star-
board, counter-clockwise, to port.
One click = one degree of course change, except when in Power Steer mode.
• Press in to perform an ‘
OK
’ function, i.e. to confirm setup actions and values.
• Rotate to scroll to different menu options and change setup values.
•
AUTO
button. Engages autopilot control.
•
STANDBY
button. Returns to manual control.

•
