Power boat functions
In addition to the generic Pilot Controller functions (Figure 1-3 ), Pilot Controllers on
power boats also have access to fishing patterns, via the Pilot Controller Main menu .
Fishing patterns
Fishing patterns enable you to automatically navigate over a preset course in Auto
mode. The patterns available are:
• Circle
• Zigzag
• Cloverleaf
•Spiral
• Circle against heading
• Figure 8
• Pattern search
•180°turn
• Box search
You can customize each pattern to give exactly the coverage you want (see page 56).
On fishing boats,
PATTERN 1 and PATTERN 2 options enable you to select either of the
two most frequently used patterns.
Instruments
A summary of the day-to-day functions for ST70+ Instruments is shown in Figure 1-4,
Normal operation . Detailed operating instructions are given in the ST70+ Operating
Guide.
