Erratic or erroneous readings:
Possible causes:
1. Test lead damaged or not connected.
2. Poor test lead connection.
3. Poor Mains power source supply. Check extension cords, plugs and cables carefully.
4. Test set attached to a “Live” load or high interference load.
5. Trying to measure the primary winding in series to the secondary winding. See “Measuring High- and
Low-Voltage-Side in Series on pages 104.
Cannot switch off the WR14:
Disconnect the power cable and press the Power switch for 15 seconds.
NOTE!
The WR series instruments are designed to be trouble free.
