SAFETY INDICATOR
Green Light on: System is in safe standby mode. Ready for handling test leads and connections.
Red Light on: Unsafe mode! Do NOT remove any cables. There is current flowing and voltage on
the test leads. System is testing.
WARNING!
The transformer is not discharged!
DISPLAY WITH TOUCH PANEL
The instrument can be easily manipulated and fully controlled by the touch screen panel. If preferred, an
external mouse can be connected to the USB Port for system control.
POTENTIAL RECEPTACLE
Connect positive (+) and negative (-) potential cables for each channel to the test object (Channel 3 only
on WR50-13).
CURRENT RECEPTACLE
Connect positive (+) and negative (-) current cables for each channel to the test object.
EXTERNAL
This port is used for an external warning device. See the chapter on interfaces for more details.
GROUND TERMINAL
Use this terminal to connect an additional ground line even if your mains Power cable (Mains) provides
an Earth ground line. Also, use it even if you are not sure that the local installation Earth ground is a low
resistive ground.
TEMPERATURE RECEPTACLE
These three (3) receptacles are for the external temperature probes (Optional accessory part number:
2021N-26001).

RS 232 and USB 2.0 (1 Host, 1 Device). See “Interfaces” on page 84 for more details.
