Step‐by‐stepinstructionsforaddressingRS‐485MIunits:
1. Powertheunit.
2. Using eitherthe buttons or software, assign uniqueaddress
tothesensor.
3. Powerdowntheunit.
4. Repeatuntilallsensorshaveauniqueaddress.
5. On the last unit
in the network, activate the shunt resistor
aftertheunithasbeenpowereddown.
Failure to use shielded RS‐485 wire or activation of the
shunt resistor when the unit is powered, can result in
damagetotheelectronics!
