11.1TransferModes
Theunit’sserialinterfaceiseitherRS232orRS485,depen dingonthe
model.
Settings: transfer rate: 9.6 kBaud, 8 data bits, 1 stop bit, no
parity,flowcontrol:none(halfduplexmode).
Therearetwopossibletransfermodesfortheserial interface:
PollMode: By user interface control, a parameter will
be set or
requested.
BurstMode: A predefined data string (“burst string“) will be
transferredasfastaspossibleaslongastheburstmode
is activated. The data will be transferred in one
directiononly,fromtheunittotheuserinterface.
V=P “P“ starts the Poll mode
(allows to request or to set
parameters)
V=B “B“startstheBurstmode(dataw illbetransferredas
fastaspossible;necessary:datastringdefinition
“Burststring“)
