MOVING A FREQUENCY FROM THE
MONITOR MEMORY TO A CHANNEL
1 . Press MANUAL. Enter the channel number into which you
want to store the monitor frequency.
2. Press PGM.
3. Press O/MON. The channel indicator flashes.
4. Press L-OUT/ENT. The scanner stores the monitor fre¬
quency in the channel, and the channel indicator stops
flashing.
SCANNING THE CHANNELS
To begin scanning the channels in your scanner, press
SCAN. The scanner scans through all non-locked channels.
(See “Locking Out Channels.”) Set SQUELCH so you do not
hear the hissing sound between transmissions.
