Choosing A Location

Select a location near a window facing the NOAA broadcast direction, away from obstructions and electrical noise.

Intro-Scan Functionality

Scans AM/FM stations, stopping for 10 seconds on each. Press Intro-Scan to exit scan mode.

Setting the Sleep Timer

Set sleep timer from 1 minute to 1 hour 59 minutes for automatic radio shut-off.

Using the Sleep Timer

Activate sleep timer with SLEEP key. Subsequent presses show remaining time. Snooze/Stop to end.

Alarm Clocks

Setting Alarm Clock 1 and 2

Configure two alarm clocks with BUZZ or AUTO modes. Default times are 7:00 AM and 7:30 AM.

Activating and Stopping Alarms

Activate alarms with ALARM 1/2 keys. Stop with STOP key. SNOOZE repeats alarm for 7 mins.

Deactivating Alarm Clocks

Press and hold ALARM 1 or ALARM 2 key until the alarm clock icons disappear.

No Sound or Power Issues

Check AC adapter connection to wall outlet and radio's DC jack for loose connections.

No Weather Broadcast

Verify weather channel is set correctly in program menu P2 and contact NOAA for broadcasting.

Poor Radio Reception

Extend antenna, rotate radio, ensure good connection, or check signal strength.

'RE-CHECK SET UP' Display

Check channel/county codes, reception, or NOAA transmission schedule if 'RE-CHECK SET UP' appears.
