No 12 Volt Power At Battery Battery switch turned o
Weak or dead battery
Battery cables disconnected from storage
Bad voltmeter or voltmeter connection
Battery Not Charging While
Engine Is Running
Loose / damaged serpentine belt
Faulty alternator - check with volt meter
Faulty volt meter
Battery Will Not Hold Charge Faulty / old battery
12 Volt Equipment Not Working Fuse blown - investigate why the
equipment was drawing too much current
or why it had a circuit short. Check fuses
in dash fuse box, underneath the dash,
and in the engine compartment
Weak or dead battery if all 12v equipment
fails to function
Corroded / loose wire connection
Internal equipment short / failure
