FLORESCENT LIGHTS
To change the fl orescent light bulb follow these steps:
Remove the lens cover from the lamp base by grasp-
ing the lens on the far side. With both hands pull up on
the lens to detach it.
Turn the bulb until both tabs on the bulb line up ver-
tically. Pull down on the bulb to release it from the lamp
body at both ends.
Replace the bulb with a Thin Lite Cool White #
F8T5-CW -HG.
LATER STYLE
The newer reading lights
use a marine type bulb
that allows for rough ser-
vice. To change the bulb
turn the fi xture and grasp
the old bulb and pull it
straight out. Replace with
the same wattage bulb.
Reinstall the bulb in the
lamp socket using a tissue
to hold it. This procedure
will help extend the bulb service life.
