DO Digital outputs

CORRIGO has 7 digital outputs DO1...DO7.

DO7, alarm output is a voltage free closing relay contact. 1 A, 24 V AC/DC.

The outputs DO1...DO6 are triac controlled, 0.5 A, 24 V AC. Short term 1 A.

The triac outputs are paired to common supply terminals for 24 V AC.

See figure in the margin.

For handling higher voltages or currents, use relay modules RM6-24/D or

RM6H-24/D that have been developed for this purpose.

Some of the outputs have alternative functions depending on model and con-

figuration. For example, this means that, in C10 and C30, DX cooling cannot be

combined with control of two-speed fans.

DO1 Start supply-air fan (High speed for 2-speed fan in C10 and C30).

DO2 Start exhaust-air fan (High speed for 2-speed fan in C10 and C30).

DO3 Control of circulation pump or electric heating interlock.

Must be wired when water heater is used. Stopped pump will force the

CORRIGO to shut-down mode.

DO3 is normally used for control of the circulation pump. When using electric

heating, this is not used. Instead it can often be useful with an output for

electric heating interlock, for example when a step-controller is used to

control the heater.

Step-controllers often have step-up/step-down time delay functions.

This can lead to heating output during the cool-down period or even after the

supply air fan has been shut down which will trip the heater high-limit

thermostat.

By wiring the heating relays via DO3 the heating output will be shut down as

soon as CORRIGO switches from running mode to shutdown mode.

When CORRIGO is configured for electric heating DO3 will be active during

normal running mode and switched off in shut-down mode i.e. even during

the cool-down period.

DO4 Control of chiller 1 (DX1) or

Start supply-air fan, low speed for 2-speed control in C10 and C30.

DO5 Control of chiller 2 (DX2) or

Start exhaust-air fan, low speed for 2-speed control in C10 and C30.

DO6 External frost protection interlock or fire damper exercising.
