Ensure that the SMART-Sensor voice cable is connected to the SMART-Net port and not the
PC/Modem port.
SMART-Sensors must be properly addressed from 1–16 using the onboard Address Tool
function.
Up to 16 SMART-Sensors can be daisy-chained directly to the MACH-Pro(Web)Com
controller’s SMART-Net port. Use the SSX expansion board if the length of a single SMART-
Net bus exceeds 76 m (250 ft). Refer to the SMART-Sensor User Guide for more information
on correct SSX implementation.
