Air conditioning control
Button 6 starts or stops the air
conditioning system.
The use of the air conditioning
system:
- lowering the temperature inside
the passenger compartment;
- eliminating condensation more
quickly.

Note:
- there is no cold air when tab 9 is
set at the bottom;
- you can alter the air temperature in
the passenger compartment at any
time by moving the temperature
adjustment tab 5;
- the Clear View function turns on
the air conditioning: indicator
light 6b is lit.
If no cool air is produced
Check that the controls are set
correctly and that the fuses are
sound. If not, turn off the air
conditioning (press button 6 so that
operating lights 6a and 6b are off)
and contact a RENAULT Dealer.
Press successively on button 6 to
select:
- the air conditioning function.
Indicator light 6a is lit.
This is the most common use: the
system determines the correct level
of cooling required according to
the external conditions.
- the maximum air conditioning
function.
Indicator light 6b is lit.
Coolant is at the maximum level.
- switching the air conditioning off.
Operating lights 6a and 6b are off.
Do not open the refrigerant
fluid circuit. The fluid may
damage the eyes or skin.
