ENGINE IMMOBILISER
Any work or modification
to the engine immobiliser
(computer, wiring, etc.)
may be dangerous. It must
be carried out by a qualified
RENAULT technician.
This prevents the vehicle being
driven by anyone not in possession
of the vehicle’s RENAULT card.
The vehicle is automatically
protected a few seconds after the
engine is switched off.
Operating principle
As soon as the system recognises
that the card is present, indicator
light 1 lights up continuously for a
few seconds and then goes out.
The vehicle has recognised the code
and the engine can be started.
If the vehicle does not recognise the
code, indicator light 1 and reader 2
will flash continuously (rapid
flashing) and the vehicle cannot be
started.
