HEADLIGHTS WITH XENON BULBS: changing bulbs

Due to the danger
involved in handling
high-voltage devices, this
type of bulb must be
replaced by a RENAULT Dealer.
As the headlights have
plastic lenses, you must
use anti-UV 55 W bulbs.
(Using any other bulb
could damage the headlight.)
The bulbs are under
pressure and can break
when changed.
Risk of injury.
Fitting this device
requires special
technology, it is forbidden
to fit a headlight with
Xenon bulbs on a version that is
not designed for this device.
Type of bulb: H1 anti-UV (see box).
Do not touch the bulb glass. Hold it
by its base.
When the bulb has been changed,
ensure that cover A is refitted.
To comply with local legislation, or
as a precaution, you can obtain an
emergency kit from your RENAULT
Dealer containing a set of spare
bulbs and fuses.
Main beam headlights
Remove cover A.
Release spring 1 and take out the
bulb.
Remove connector 2.
Dipped beam headlights and
main beam headlights with
Xenon bulbs
Never remove cover B.
Bulb type: D1S.
