The tailgate is locked and unlocked
at the same time as the doors.
To open
Press button 1 and lift the tailgate.
To close
Lower the tailgate by first using the
inside handles 2.
Opening the doors from inside
the vehicle
If it is impossible to lock the luggage
compartment, it can be done from
the inside.
- access the tailgate by tilting the
rear seats;
- insert a pencil or similar object in
cavity 3 and slide the unit as
shown in the illustration;
- push the tailgate to open it.
Handle the tailgate with care if
carrying equipment is fitted (bike
rack), as the extra weight can
cause it to close.
