ROOF BARS (continued)
Removing the bars
It may sometimes be necessary to
remove the roof bars. To do this:
- unscrew socket 5 by screw 4;
- unlock the bars by the levers B and
slide them backwards to remove
them;
- tighten socket 5.
For your safety, check that the bars
are completely immobilised if you
are storing the roof bars in the
vehicle.
Refitting the roof bars
Proceed in reverse order to removal.
Make sure that the bars are correctly
locked in position.
Advice for use
Using the sunroof (if fitted to the
vehicle) or the tailgate.
In general, it is not advisable to use
the sunroof when there is a load on
the roof bars.
Before using the sunroof or the
tailgate, check the objects and/or
accessories (bike racks, roof box,
etc.) attached to the roof bars: they
should be properly arranged and
secured and should not interfere
with the operation of the sunroof or
tailgate.
Consult your RENAULT Dealer for
details of possible adaptations.
