The passenger airbag must
only be deactivated or
activated when the vehicle
is stationary.

up at the same time indicates a
system fault
Activating the front passenger
airbags
You should reactivate the airbag as
soon as you remove the child seat
from the front passenger seat, to
ensure the protection of the front
passenger in the event of an impact.
Reactivating airbags: when the
vehicle is stationary, push and turn
the lock 4 to the ON position.
Switch the ignition back on, and
then check that AIRBAG OFF
warning light 5 goes out. The means
of restraint in addition to the front
passenger seat belts are activated.
Operating faults
It is forbidden to fit a rear-facing
child seat to the front passenger seat
if the airbag activation/deactivation
system is faulty.
Allowing any other passenger to sit
in that seat is not recommended.
Contact your RENAULT Dealer as
soon as possible.
