11.COMMISSIONING,LIGHTING&OPERATION
Finaltestingafterproductionensuresthat,iftheinstallationhasbeencarriedoutstrictlyinaccordancewiththis
document,theapplianceisreadytobetakenintoservice.
11.1LIGHTING
1. Ensurethattheairdischargelouvresareopen.
2. Turnonthegassupply.
3. Switchontheelectricalsupply.
4. Settheroomthermostatto‘ON’position.
5. Iftheindicatorlightontheburnerrelayglowsand/ortheroomthermostatdisplayflashes,pressthereset
button.
6. The
burnerwillnowautomaticallylightafterabout15secandwithin60sectheaircirculationfanwillrun.
7. Iftheinstallationisnew,3start‐upcyclesmaybenecessaryduetoairstillbeingpresentinthegaspipe.
Shouldtheairheaterstillnotlight,refer
tosection12:‘FaultFinding’.
8. Thegaspressuremustcorrespondtothedataintable1.Ifthegaspressure(G20)ishigherthan60mbar,a
pressureregulatorwithconstantterminalpressuremustbeinstalled.Ifthegaspressureislowerthan
20mbar/17.50mbar,checkthesupplypipeworktoensure
itiscorrectlysized.
11.2OPERATION
Attention
Duringstartupallgasservices(uptothegasmeter)mustbecheckedagainforgassoundnessto
ensurenoleaksarepresent.
Thecondensationdrainpipeandsiphon,bothalreadyfilledwithwater,mustbevisuallytested
forwatertightness.
1. If,foranyreason,theburner
flameisextinguishedduringaruncycle,anautomaticattemptforre‐ignitionwill
takeplace.Iftheburnerdoesnotrelight,safetyshutdownandlockoutwilloccur.Manualinterventiontoreset
willbenecessarytoputtheairheaterbackintoservice.
2. Intheeventofoverheating
forany reason,overheatcontrolsoperatetoswitchofftheburner.Incasetheheat
exchanger’stemperatureistoohigh,theburnerwillbeswitchedoffbytheLC1limitcontrol(firstsafety).The
burnerautomatically switches on againafter cooling down andre‐start will takeplace. The limit control
LC3,
which operates at a higher temperature setting, switches off the burner and itself to a lockout condition
requiring a thorough check of the heater and a manual reset via the burner relay or the remote control to
restoretheheatertooperationalcondition.Acoolingtimeofabout1
minuteisnecessarybeforeresetting.
3. When the set temperature has been reached, the comfort regulation ensures modulation on the burner. To
compensatepossibleheatlosses,warmthisstilldissipatedbytheairheateritself.
4. Toturnofftheairheaterforashortperiod,turntheroomthermostatto
alowersetting.Torelight,resetthe
thermostat.
5. Toturnofftheheaterforaprolongedperiod,turntheroomthermostattolowestsettingandturnoffthegas
supply to the appliance. Switch off electric al supply to the air heater only after the air circulation fan has
stopped.

6. Gasandelectricitymustonlybeturnedoffincaseofemergencyorforprolongedperiodsofshutdownofthe
airheater.
11.3LEDSTATUS
