4 Connectors and status LEDs on the U-router NGW
This section provides an overview of the connectors and status LEDs on the U-router NGW unit.
4.1 U-router NGW front panel

1 – Power
Blue, Power LED.
- LED on = power on
2 – Contact
Green, Contact/Relay status.
- LED off = contact open
- LED on = contact closed
3 – Modem
Green
- LED flashing 500ms on/off = searching for network,
- LED flashing on, on, off = found network waiting for data connection,
- LED on, flashing off, off = data connection operational
4 – Alert
Green
- LED flashing when an error has occurred
5 – Serial
RJ45 serial port, Cisco console port compatible
6 – Exp
Expansion port
- Contact normally open
- RS485 RIOT/Modbus
