Alternate Receiver Configuration
It is recommended that the two receivers be mounted on the latch side of
the door, but in some cases adequate space is not available on one side
of the doorway. In this instance, both sides of the doorway will need to be
used. Mount the receivers as follows:
1. Mount the top of the first receiver approximately 39” (according to the
location determination assessment) from the floor in a vertical
direction on the left side of the door
2. Mount the top of the second receiver approximately 3' (according to
the location determination assessment) from the floor in a horizontal
direction on the right side of the door. Ensure that the coil of the
receiver is pointed at the notches in the vertically mounted receiver.
3. Mount the metal mounting bracket first and then mount the plastic
assembly to the metal bracket with the supplied hardware
