Shooting Mode Types

In [Pets] or [Discreet Mode]:
The beep does not sound.
Pressing the ADJ./OK button to F (flash) does not change the flash mode.

The self-timer lamp will not blink and a beep will not sound in self-timer
mode. (GP.30)
When using [Zoom Macro], you can shoot close-ups within the following
distances:

Selecting a Scene Mode

Turn the mode dial to SCENE.
The camera is ready to shoot and the
selected scene mode is displayed at
the top of the picture display.

Press the MENU button to change
the scene mode.
The scene mode selection screen
appears.
