4. Open the bound booklet to where you want to insert the new pages, and then place one
of your hands on the ring stand.
5. Insert the sharp end of the ring opener into one end of the ring comb, and then push it all
the way through the ring comb.
The rings of the comb will open as you push the ring opener through them.
6. Insert the new pages.
7. Holding the sides of the ring opener, carefully press down the opened rings.
To close a 50-sheet type binding ring comb, use the side of the ring opener that has the smaller
grooves.
To close a 100-sheet type binding ring comb, use the side of the ring opener that has the larger
grooves.
