3.  Manual Trigger 
When manual trigger is selected, the generator can output infinite or gated 
burst. A burst will be generated from the corresponding channel (if currently 
turned on) once you press Trigger. If the corresponding channel is not turned 
on, Trigger will be grayed out and disabled. 
 
Press TrigOut to select “Leading” or “Trailing” and the [CH1/Sync/Ext 
Mod/Trig/FSK] connector at the rear panel will output the trigger signal with 
specified edge. 
 
 
Idle Level 
 
In burst mode, the generator output the carrier waveform with specified number of 
cycles and then output a level, as shown in the figure below. The level is defined as 
idle level.

When Burst is enabled, press Idle Level to select your desired menu to set the idle 
level. The default value is 0V. 
 
1.  FirstPt 
Set the level of the first point of the carrier waveform as the idle level. 
 
2.  Top 
Set the level of the top point of the carrier waveform as the idle level. 
 
3.  Center 
Set the level of the center point of the carrier waveform as the idle level. 
 
4.  Bottom 
Set the level of the bpttom point of the carrier waveform as the idle level. 
 
5.  Diy 
Set the level of the specified point of the carrier waveform as the idle level. 
Select this menu and rotate the knob. The serial number of the point currently 
selected is displayed on the left of the interface. The range of the serial number 
of the point is from 0 to 16383. 
 
 
Idle Level
