Test and storage conditions

Avoid sudden changes in light conditions while
testing. The flash of a camera, for example, can
lead to incorrect test results.
H
Keep the meter away from very strong light
sources (e.g. direct sunlight). These may stop the
meter from functioning correctly and lead to error
messages.
W
Strong electromagnetic fields may interfere
with the proper operation of the meter.
To avoid electrostatic discharge, do not use
the meter in a very dry environment,
especially one in which synthetic materials are
present.
Sources of environmental interference
Do not use the meter in close proximity to a
strong electromagnetic field.
Light conditions
Do not perform a test when the meter and the
test strips are exposed to direct sunlight. Go to a
shaded place or shade the meter, for example
with your body.
If the meter is exposed to too much light, the
meter does not allow any tests to be performed.
In this case the following error message appears
on the display:
