. Normal Mode (for Single Readings)
BIOHAZARD: Always wear protective gloves when handling and disposing of samples of human origin.
The Urisys system is ready to read when the display shows a sample number and “INSERT STRIP !”.
ATTENTION: To ensure that urinalysis is carried out correctly, read the package insert included with the
test strips.
. Dip the test strip briefly ( sec) in the urine sample.
. Draw the long edge of the strip along the rim of the specimen container to
remove excess urine (see Figure ).

. Place the test strip, with the test pads facing upward, on the test strip tray so
that its leading edge is held by the clip at the insertion slot. The retaining bar
must be open (see Figure ). About mm of strip must be held under the
clip (see Figure ).
