3 Align the center of the wall plate template (07) at the height you determined in
the previous step and make sure that it is level. Tape the template to the wall.
4 Drill four pilot holes through the template to a depth of 2 3/4 in. (7 cm) using a
7/32 in. (5.5 mm) diameter drill bit, then remove the template.
