2. Memory
Pump
This message is transmitted when the organist sends ("dumps") a combination memory to a
sequencer.
The
body
of
the message contains a portion
of
the data from a combination memory; several
such messages are usually necessary to transmit
the
complete contents
of
a memory.
Subcommand byte:

This byte contains the zero-indexed number
of
the combination
memory being dumped.
The data for the memory is converted from one byte with 8
significant bits to two bytes with 4 significant bits each. The high
order bits are contained in the low order nibble
of
the first byte. The
low order bits are contained in the low order nibble
of
the second
byte. The contents
of
the piston data structure is proprietary and not
disclosed.
