By using a USB cable to connect the R-05 to your
computer, you can transfer files from the R-05’s SD
card into your computer and use them in your music
software. You can also transfer files from your
computer to the R-05 and play them back on the R-05.
“Types of Files that can be Played” (p. 69)
1. Start up your computer.
2. Make sure that an SD card is inserted
in the R-05’s SD card slot.
“Inserting an SD Card” (p. 32)
3. Switch on the R-05’s power (p. 26).
4. Press either [FINDER] or [MENU] several times
to access the main screen.
5. Use the included USB cable to connect
the R-05 to your computer.
When connecting the USB cable to your
computer, grasp the base of the connector, and
avoid touching the metallic portion of the plug.
If you connect the R-05 to your computer with
no SD card inserted, the R-05’s display will
indicate “No Card.”
The R-05 will not be recognized if you connect
it to your computer when the “Menu” screen is
shown, or during playback or recording.
Disconnect the USB cable that’s between
the R-05 and your computer, and perform the
