Starting With A Count-In
When
you
play
the
piano
along
with
a
demo
song,
it
may
be
difficult
for
you
to
start
in
time
with
the
demo
song.
In
that
case,
you
can
use
the
Count-In
function
that
will
count in 2 measures before playback starts.

Select
the
song
you
want
to
play
with
the
SONG
[+/-]
but-
tons.
2.
Press
the
[METRONOME]
button
to
activate
the
metro-
nome.
3.
Press
the
[PLAY]
button.
The
song
will
start
playing
after
a
two-measure count-in.

again
to
stop
playback.
Practicing with the Metronome
The
RD-100
is
equipped
with
a
metronome.
This
may
come
in
handy
for
getting
the
timing
of

Select
a
Song
Number
with
the
SONG
[+/-]
buttons.
2.
Press
the
[METRONOME]
button
to
activate
the
metronome.
3.
Select
a
desired
tempo
by
pressing
the
TEMPO
[+/-]
but-
tons.
As
a
rule,
you
should
start
out
with
a
relatively
slow
tempo
and
then
increase
it
as
you
start
coming
to
grips
with
the
piece.

If
you
press
the
both
the
TEMPO
[+/-]
buttons
at
the
same
time, the original tempo will be restored.

Press
the
[TRACK
2]
button,
and
confirm
that
the
indicator
goes
out.
Practice
the
right-hand
part
by
playing
along
with
the
left
hand
part
of
the
Demo
Performance.
5. Press the [PLAY] button.
After
a
two-measure
count-in,
the
song
will
start
playing
at the selected tempo.
6.
Press
the
[PLAY]
button
again
to
stop
playback.
7.
Press
the
[METRONOME]
button
to
stop
the
metronome.
