Troubleshooting
If
the
piano
does
not
work
properly,
check
the
following
first:
The
piano
cannot
be
switched
on
Check
that
the
power
cord
is
securely
and
correctly
con-
nected,
No
sound
is
heard
Check
that
the
[VOLUME]
slider
is
not
set
to
the
far
left
position.
Check
if
the
RD-100
is
connected
to
an
amplifier
and
whether
the
amp,
etc.,
is
switched
on.
No
sound
is
heard
(when
an
external
MIDI
device
is
connected)
Check
whether
all
relevant
devices
are
switched
on.
Check
whether
Local
is
set
to
“Off”.
Demo
song
cannot
be
played
Check
whether
the
indicator
of
a
Track
button
lights.
No
sound
is
heard
from
a
Track
whose
indicator
is
dark.
Press
the
Track
button
to
light
it.
During
recording
or
playback,
you
cannot
select
other
demo
songs.
Stop
recording
or
playback.
Two
tones
are
played
when
keyboard
is
pressed
Check
whether
the
Dual
mode
is
active.
If
a
sequencer
is
connected,
check
whether
its
Soft
THRU
function
is
turned
off.
Not
all
notes
sound
The
maximum
number
of
voices
of
the
RD-100
is
64.
If
you
play
along
with
a
demo
song
and
frequently
use
the
Pedal,
and
the
performance
data
exceeds
the
maximum
voices,
so
that
some
notes
are
cut
off.
The
pitch
of
the
keyboard
or
demo
songs
sounds
incorrect.
Check
whether
the
Key
Transpose
is
off.
Check
the
temperament
and
Stretch
Tuning
settings.
Check
the
Master
Tuning
setting.
Pedal
is
not
functioning
properly;
it
does
not
have
any
effect,
or
it
stays
on.
Check
that
the
pedal
is
securely
and
correctly
connected.
Recorded
data
is
erased
Did
you
press
the
[REC]
button
while
holding
the
Track
button
down?
About
8
hours
after
the
piano
is
disconnected
from
the
wall
outlet,
the
data
will
be
automatically
erased.
Once
data
is
erased,
it
cannot
be
restored.
