Instruments can be a valuable addirion if they

what they are telling him.
Poor
quality
instruments
should never
be used.
Never use a tachometer directly connecied
to the ignition
system. Use a tachometer
operating
on the
lighting coi.l.

The Aviasport
tachometer T8K12E, part
no.
966 072, has
been specifically
designed
to be connected to the 12 pole
flywheel genemtor
used
on the Ducati
CDI
Systems.
The
tachometer measlres
tie frequency
of the
pulses
provided
by
one of the
transducels supply winding
where it is
conflected. It
does l1ot require
any extemal
power
supply. It is connected
by two wiles
withour
polarity.
The indicating range
comes up to
8000
r.p.rn.
The
weight is 1
