Lubrication, Introduction
1. Use a good grade of multi-purpose grease.
2. Make sure all grease ttings are free of dirt and
paint before using.
3. Usually, one to two pumps per zerk is sucient.
4. Lubricate at the end of the season to keep moisture
out of critical areas.
5. Figure E-1 shows an overall view of the V-Rake
lubrication areas. Subsequent gures give
close-ups of the key areas.
