Bolt Torque Information
1. Tighten bolts to torques shown in the chart unless
otherwise specied.
2. Bolts having locknuts with cadmium or wax nish
should be tightened to approximatley 50% of
amounts shown on charts.
3. Locknuts should be Grade C.
4. Over tightening bolts can cause as much damage
as under tightening. Tightening a bolt beyond the
recommended range can reduce its shock load
capacity.
5. Check and retighten all bolts, nuts, and set screws:
a) After initial 10 hours of use,
b) And again after every 50 hours of use.
TIRE INFLATION PRESSURES
1. Proper tire ination is important for safe and ecient
operation of the Ultimate Rake.
2. The recommended tire ination pressures are listed
in A-6.
