If your Ryobi Trimmer engine won't start, there could be several reasons. First, the spark plug may be damaged. Remove it and check for dirt and cracks; replace it if needed. Second, there might be no fuel. Push the primer bulb until it's full of fuel. If it doesn't fill, the primary fuel delivery system is blocked, and you should contact a servicing dealer. Third, the engine might be flooded. Remove the spark plug, turn the product so the spark plug hole is aimed at the ground, rotate the choke dial to “ ” position and pull the starter cord 10 to 15 times to clear excess fuel. Clean and reinstall the spark plug. Clean up any spilled fuel and move at least 9m away before restarting. Pull the starter three times with the choke dial at “ ”.
