Co ee emptying cycle
If you want to change co ee beans, we recommend that you empty the
co ee duct and grinder. In this way you will taste the full aroma of the new
co ee beans. For this follow the steps below.

Insert the co ee bean hopper with the new co ee beans.

Press the “ ” button to access the programming menu. Scroll the
pages by pressing the “
” button until the following icon is displayed.

Press the “ ” button.

The machine performs two grinding cycles without brewing co ee.
Note:
You can stop the grinding cycle early by pressing the “
” button between
the  rst and second grinding cycle.

When the grinding cycles have been  nished, the following icon is
displayed.

Press the “ ” MENU button. The machine shows this display
Note:
If you have not emptied the co ee duct and grinder, you need to brew at
least two co ees before you can taste the new co ee beans.
Warning:
Please be aware that when you change co ee blend and switch to
deca einated co ee, still some ca eine traces might be present even
after having run the emptying cycle.
