Decommissioning
To decommission the regulator for service
work or disassembly, proceed as follows:
1. Closetheshut-offvalve(1)ontheup-
stream side of the regulator.
2. Closetheshut-offvalve(6)onthedown-
stream side of the regulator.
3. Depressurizetheplant.
4. Completelydrainthepipelinesand
valve.
5. If necessary, allow the pipeline and reg-
ulator components to cool down or warm
up to the ambient temperature.
