TheSoftwareUpgrademenuallowsyoutoupgradetheplayer’ssoftwareforperformanceimprovementsoradditional
services.
•Neverturntheplayerofforbackonmanuallyduringtheupdateprocess.
1)IntheHomemenu,selecttheSettings,andthenpressthe
button.
2)SelectSupport,andthenpressthebutton.
3)SelectSoftwareUpgrade,andthenpressthebutton.
4)Selectoneofthefollowingmethods:
•ByOnline
•ByChannel
•ByUSB
•ByDisc
•ByDownoaded
•StandbyModeUpgrade
5)Pressthe
button.
NOTE
•Theupgradeiscompletewhentheplayerturnsoff,andthenturnsonagainbyitself.
•SamsungElectronicsshalltakenolegalresponsibilityforplayermalfunctioncausedbyanunstableInternetconnectionor
consumernegligenceduringasoftwareupgrade.
•Ifyouwanttocanceltheupgradewhiletheupgradesoftwareisdownloading,pressthe
button.
•ByOnline
YourplayermustbeconnectedtotheInternettousetheByOnlinefunction.
1)SelectByOnline,andthenpressthe
button.TheConnectingtoServermessageappears.
2)Ifthereisadownloadavailable,theDownloadpop-upappearswithaprogressbarandthedownloadstarts.
3)Whenthedownloadiscomplete,theUpgradeQuerywindowappearswiththreechoices:UpgradeNow,Upgrade
Later,orDon’tUpgrade.
4)IfyouselectUpgradeNow,theplayerupgradesthesoftware,turnsoff,andthenturnsonautomatically.
5)IfyoudonotmakeaselectioninoneminuteorselectUpgradeLater,theplayerstoresthenewupgradesoftware.You
canupgradethesoftwarelaterusingtheByDownloadedfunction.
6)IfyouselectDon’tUpgrade,theplayercancelstheupgrade.
