Piping works among outdoor units
• The additional branch joints are needed for module installation of the outdoor units.
• When outdoor units are installed in module, there is no designation of outdoor unit’s location
according to capacity.
• The connected piping should be positioned at the same level with pipe cover hole or lower.

The refrigerant piping
should be the
same level or lower

Piping work should

uniform distribution
of refrigerant and oil

Outdoor joint kits
should be installed in
a horizontal direction,
even it is a low
pressure pipe.
When the piping
length between
outdoor and branch
joints is 2m(6'7") or
more, a vertical trap
has to be installed like
right diagram.
