8-2 Test Mode
2. The following table describes the menu function.
Menu Sub menu Description
1. FW UPDATE
(1) BODY FW UPDATE
(2) LENS FW UPDATE
(3) EXT. FLASH FW UPDATE
(4) DSP FW UPDATE
(5) RESET USERDATA
Display and update the rmware.
This function is used for updating the rmware
by using cs menu. .
2. SYSTEM PARAMETER
(1) FACTORY RESET
(2) POWER OFF TEMP.
(3) DISABLE CHINESE LANG
(4) DISABLE DISPLAY SEVE
(5) DISABLE POWER SEVE
(6) DISABLE MOVIE REC LIMIT
(7) NO LENS RELEASE ENABLE
(8) DISABLE INT ERR POWER OFF
Display and reset the factory data.
3. ADJUSTMENT CONTROL
(1) AUTO START DISABLE
(2) PTP AUTOMATION ENABLE
(3) LINE PROCESS STEP
(4) LINE PROCESS MARK
(5) ADJUST DATA TO LOG FILE
(6) ADJUST RESULT
(1) Prevent auto start when the adjustment le is inserted.
(2) Select the necessary adjustment process.
(3) Conrm that the previous process is complete.
(4) Log le with the adjustment data.
(5) Display the result of the adjustment.
(6) Conrm the result of adjustment.
4. LENS CONTROL
(1) OIS ADJUSTMENT
(2) ZOOM WIDE SET
(3) ZOOM TELE SET
(4) MR SENSOR ADJUST
(5) LENS MOUNT INFO
(6) LENS COMM SEVE
(1) Set the OIS adjustment value.
* Proceed the OIS Adjustment when replacing and installing
the PCB inside lens.
(2) Set the wide value of zoom lens
(3) Set the telephoto(tele) value of zoom lens.
* Do not move the lens during the LENS CONTROL process.

1. Turn on the camera by turning the power switch to the right. Select the AUTO (Smart Auto) by turning the mode dial to the right.
Press the following buttons to display the test mode as shown below.
(1) Down button -> (2) OK button -> (3) Up button -> (4) OK button -> (5) Right button -> (6)
Press and hold the EV button and then press OK button.
TEST MODE
(6) Press and hold the EV button and then press OK button.
