Digital Still Camera mode (SCD75/D77 only)
Protecting from accidental erasure
✤ You can protect important images from accidental erasure.
■
If you execute the MEMORY FORMAT, all images including protected images will be erased.
1. Set the mode switch to DSC.
2. Set the power switch to PLAYER mode.
■
The last recorded image appears.
■
If there are no recorded images on the Smart Media Card, NO STORED IMAGE and
MEM. will blink on the screen.
3. Using the (MEM.
+
) and (MEM.
_
) buttons, search the still image that you want to protect.
4. Press the MENU ON/OFF button.
5. Turn the MENU DIAL to highlight PROTECT SET and press ENTER.
6. To activate or deactivate the PROTECT, press ENTER.
■
ON : To protect the viewing image.
- The protect indicator P appears on the screen.
■
OFF : To release the protection mode.
- The P mark disappears on the screen.
■
RETURN : To return to main menu.
7. Using the (MEM.
+
) and (MEM.
_
) buttons, search the still image that you want to protect again.
■
Protect or release the image using step 6.
8. To exit the menu, press the MENU ON/OFF button.
