CHECKING THE REMAINING BATTERY
CHARGE
The remaining battery charge can be confirmed on the LCD monitor, and it is
recommended that you check it before taking pictures. For information on the
battery operation time, please see “Battery Operation” on page 79.

Set the main switch to [Ô] or [Õ].
œ If the main switch is set to [Õ], open the lens
cover.

Select any shooting or playback mode other than [Ø].
œ The remaining battery charge is indicated in the lower-right corner of
the LCD monitor.

From about 1/2 full to less than 1/4 full

Replace the batteries. It will soon be impossible to
take pictures. (When this status is reached, the
indication will be displayed continually on the LCD
monitor.)
