Self-timer photography (still images only)
The self-timer can be used to take photos in the still image shooting mode.

Display the Still Image Shooting
Setting Screen (see page 44), and
select the self-timer menu.
V: Turns off the self-timer function.
ô: Turns on the self-timer function.
The image is captured about 2
seconds after the shutter release
button is pressed.
ò: Turns on the self-timer function.
The image is captured about 10
seconds after the shutter release
button is pressed.

Select ô or ò, and press the
SET button.
œ This completes the self-timer setting.

Press the shutter release button.
œ When using the self-timer function,
be sure to use a tripod or place the
digital camera on a level, stable
surface.
