Testing the Heater

1. Select “Hardware tests” see the previous page
2. Select “Heater test” q soft key
and confirm

3. Start the heater test
Start soft key
After initialization, the current
temperature (in this case: 138°C)
and test time (in this case: 1.5 min)
are displayed
If the sample chamber is opened,
the test stops until the
sample chamber is closed again.
After a brief time interval, the device
reaches the nominal temperature.

Heating Unit Adjustment
Purpose
After transporting or replacing the heating unit:
Determine the parameters that allow gentle opening and closing of the heating unit.

2. Select “Heater adjustment”

and confirm
O soft key
Open and close the sample chamber
20 times.
When the test is concluded,
the result is displayed:
Either: Test Error or Test over
3. Exit “Heater adjustment”
