2.6 Accessories, Consumables, and Spare Parts
The use of unsuitable accessories, consumables, and spare parts can affect the
functionality and safety of the device and have the following consequences:
− Risk of injury to persons
− Damage to the product
− Malfunctioning of the product
− Failure of the product
− Incorrect test results
− Loss of the sample to be tested
− Contamination of the sample to be tested
t Only use approved accessories, consumables, and spare parts supplied by Sartorius.
t Only use accessories, consumables, and spare parts that are in proper working
order (see Chapter “15 Accessories, Consumables, and Spare Parts”, page 43).
