Note:
1 In the Frequency position, the range conversion is automatic.
Measurement range: 0-10MHz
2 Input voltage: 1-20V rms
When the signal frequency becomes higher, the input voltage required by the meter will also increase.
Measuring duty cycle
3 For measurement of a weak signal with frequency lower than 10Hz, the signal must be greater than 2V rms.
Measuring capacitance:
1 Set the function switch to the position.
2 Connect the adapter to the " " jacket and " " jacket as shown.
3 If the reading on the screen is not zero, press the "REL" button and the meter will enters the relative value measurement mode,
and then the "REL" symbol appears on the LCD and the reading becomes zero.
4 Short the two pins of the capacitor to be measured and fully discharge the capacitor, and insert the capacitor into the capacitor
jack on the adapter.
5 Take the readings indicated on the screen after it is stable.
Measuring temperature only applies to 03017:
1 Set the function switch to position " ". And press " " button to select the unit of temperature: / .
2 Insert the negative plug at the cold junction of the Type K thermocouple into " " jack, and the positive plug into
" "jack.
3 Place the other end of the thermocouple at the place where the temperature measurement will occur.
4 Take the reading of temperature indicated on the screen.
Tips:
When the capacitance measurement function is activated, ranges are switched automatically. Since the capacitance is
calculated using the charge/discharge cycle of the measured capacitor, the larger the measured capacitance, the more time
the measurement takes.
Note:
To avoid damage to the multimeter or other equipment, remember that the rated range of multimeter is -20-1000° C
-4-1832° F. The Type K thermocouple supplied with the multimeter as a giveaway has the rating of 250 , which
is for reference only. It is a nonprofessional grade product. To obtain accurately measured temperature, please use a
professional grade thermocouple.
